Triangle Republican Womens Meeting

Courtney Geels will be attending the Republican Women’s Meeting in Durham. Come join our April meeting with the Durham County School Board Candidate Panel. This panel discussion will be moderated by Yolanda Robinson.

Education Issues are a hot topic and this school board election is important. Courtney believes that the power should be given back to the people. This is especially true when it come to the education of the children. Parents have a right to be an important role in direction their children’s education. The School boards in our state must be held accountable for the decisions they are making the directly impact our children. There must be accountability for mask mandates for children, keeping political ideology such as CRT out of the curriculum and maintaining that the types of books in the classroom are clean and appropriate for children.

Courtney stands by her belief that every child has the right to a quality education, free from political ideology. Parents have a right to know what is being taught at their children’s school, therefore we need transparency. I stand against the teaching of CRT and Queer/Gender Theory in our schools.
