Durham, NC – I began this journey because I saw a sickness in Washington – too much bureaucracy, too much regulation and too many out of touch politicians trying to tell Americans how to live our lives.

As a nurse, and patient advocate, I have been fortunate enough to meet North Carolinians of all stripes and hear your stories about what our community needs. You told me that we need bold solutions. We need to put people back to work. We need to empower parents and families so that they can make the best decisions for themselves and their kids. These interactions moved me, they educated me, but more than anything, they made me want to fight back!

After two years of failed mandates and shutdowns, it is clear that Washington doesn’t have the answers. That is why I decided to run myself. I want to restore to our government and society the values that this country was founded on and the tenants by which I live out my Christian faith every day – truth, justice, and unity.

We need truth in the media and less censorship from big corporations trying to control the narrative. We need justice for the people and a fair system that respects our freedom, autonomy, and dignity. And we need unity – to focus on what makes America exceptional instead of what divides us.

After consulting with my husband Brian, my family and friends, and with prayerful consideration, I have decided to run for U.S. Congress to represent North Carolina’s 4th District. This area is my home, and the residents are my neighbors. You told me that it’s time to push back against the radical policies coming out of Washington and I am ready to be that strong voice for our community. I will fight to protect your family and protect our state from do-nothing politicians who talk, but don’t act. That is why it’s time to send a nurse!

May God Bless You All,

Courtney Geels
